Customer In Louisiana

Welcome to our latest post in our Dumb & Dumber section.

This edition’s unlucky customer first contacted us over three years ago, when his dog contracted Parvo.

The dog had already been sick for three days when he placed his order, but with our home remedies and the products we were then selling at the time, he was able to save his dog.

Fast forward to 2011, and another of his dogs contracted Parvo.

He rang us on a Monday afternoon to place his order, and it turned out that the dog had got sick the previous Friday.

Now, here’s the question, and here’s why we’re posting this in our Dumb & Dumber category: given that he’d already seen Parvo in action, why did he still wait three days before taking any action?

While it’s true that there are many causes of vomiting and diarrhea, he knows he has Parvo on his property, because he’s already had one outbreak, and this virus can survive for years.

But the strange thing was that, when we spoke to him (many times during the course of that afternoon and evening), it was as though he’d never dealt with Parvo before in his life – couldn’t identify the symptoms, didn’t think to repeat the home remedies from last time or check our site for updated versions.

We found it surprising that such a traumatic ordeal (for both dog and owner) could completely slip anybody’s mind. Yes, the human brain is good at casting aside painful memories, but in this instance, the experience this person should have gained the first time around would have been really useful when his next dog got the virus.

So, what happened?

Well, his sick dog didn’t make it through the night – because he’d left it too late. If he’d rung us on Friday, before our 2:00pm MST cut-off time, he could have been treating his dog with the home remedies that day, and his order would have been delivered on Saturday.

Even if he’d missed that deadline, he could have placed his order and been given immediate access to our comprehensive Parvo Treatment Guide, which contains all the necessary emergency measures to deal with the major risks of Parvo, i.e. dehydration and hypoglycemia). Those home remedies alone have kept dogs going for three or more days in the past, and could well have saved his dog.

But what did he do?

He fooled around, letting his dog get sicker and sicker, and did nothing at all for three days.

As we said earlier, his first dog had been sick for three days too before he placed his order, and we’ve successfully treated dogs who’ve been sick for even longer, but with a virus as aggressive as Parvo, why would anybody leave it so long without taking action? Especially when this wasn’t his first encounter with the virus.

To be honest, this sort of behaviour defies belief.

Anyway, to bring this sorry tale to a conclusion, he rang us 5 am on Tuesday morning to tell us his dog had died during the early hours and to cancel his order, in spite of the fact that he had one other dog who was still at risk (in addition to the dog we helped save three years ago, who should have natural immunity now).

Of course, we advised him not to cancel, in case his other dog got sick (remember, even fully-vaccinated dogs as old as 14 have been known to get Parvo, so no dog is safe!), but he chose to ignore this advice.

On the one hand, we obviously don’t want this other dog to get the virus, but on the other, it would (we hope) be a salutary lesson to this guy if it did.

We promptly canceled the order, issued a refund, and sent him a message stating what we did. The following day he has a bank rep call us at 7 am asking about the refund. We told him that the refund was already processed and we sent him a message which he claims he never received – how about checking your account for recent activity? Or perhaps call us at a decent hour for a change so we could reiterate what we told you previously?

This kind of incompetence and time wasting is why he doesn’t deserve to have pets.

Moral of the story this time: once you have Parvo on your property (which he did), be prepared, because any new dogs you get after that are likely to become infected too (even if, or maybe especially if, they are vaccinated).

A Response To Beth

Beth,

Thanks for your comment and questions.

Firstly, we are, of course, very sorry to hear about Sheba and Arthur. The Parvo virus is getting ever more aggressive, and it can claim a dog’s life in a matter of hours sometimes.

Secondly, we have to say that vaccinating dogs that have been exposed to the Parvo virus almost never turns out well.

Once one dog in a household gets Parvo, we always assume that the other dogs will be infected too. However, with the virus taking 3 – 15 days to incubate before symptoms appear, it’s easy to assume that they are OK, when in fact, they have the virus already.

So, injecting them with a vaccine that contains millions of viral particles, regardless of whether they’ve been “modified” or not, simply adds to the growing army of Parvo virus that is already gaining strength inside the dog.

Most vaccine manufacturers specifically state that you should not give these vaccines to dogs that are not healthy, and in our view, if a dog has been exposed to and infected by a virus as nasty as Parvo, even if there are no visible symptoms yet, then that dog is definitely not healthy.

Sadly, we have heard tales similar to yours almost every single day for the past few years, and in some cases, our customers have found that vaccinating a dog that has been exposed to the virus but which is apparently healthy can actually kill it – in as little as five hours.

This blog post, called The Worst Thing You Can Do If Your Dog Has Been Exposed To Parvo, describes just such a case, which happened to the fiancé of a customer of ours.

We come under a lot of criticism for our views on vaccinations, but a recent post we made, called Vaccines Lower Immunity, quotes somebody who used to be a vaccine developer, and he himself stated that vaccines “can actually cause the disease they are supposed to prevent”.

Exactly what we’ve been telling our customers for years!

And these problems aren’t just confined to the Parvovirus. If you read a post we made about the Bordetella vaccine on another of our sites, then you’ll also find tons of people who’ve experienced similar issues with that one too – and again, some dogs died as a result of these shots.

In spite of the recent stories in the media, you cannot ignore the sharp increase in “disorders” in today’s children, including, of course, autism, allergies and ADHD, to name but a few, and when you consider that infants receive about 33 doses of vaccines during the first 12 months of their lives, it’s not surprising, to us at least, that sticking all those toxic chemicals in such a young child is going to cause problems, both in the short-term and long-term.

Anyway, off our soap box.

It sounds as though Sharmin is doing as well as can be expected, although we would not recommend giving her any more fluids than the amounts specified in our Parvo Treatment Guide. Remember, it’s possible to overhydrate a dog just like you can underhydrate a dog, and that can also prove fatal in some cases.

The quantities specified in our document are the correct amounts for dogs of the weights listed, so dogs should not be drinking any more than that at this stage. That is why we recommend removing a dog’s water bowl, and if they do seem like they need a bit more, then small amounts of oatmeal water are best – maybe a tablespoon at a time.

If you overhydrate a dog, then it usually causes additional vomiting, which is clearly to be avoided at all costs.

Based on what you say though, it doesn’t sound like she’s dehydrated.

The same goes for food – they should not have access to their food bowl either, as it’s too early for anything other than the puppy milk and ParvoBuster Puppy Gel that are detailed in our guide.

Finally, it was unfortunate that you placed your order on Thursday after the shipping deadline, which is why you had to go with the Saturday Delivery option. According to the FedEx tracking system, your package is on schedule and due for delivery by 1:30pm today (i.e. Saturday), your time.

So, keep on with everything in our Parvo Treatment Guide, and if you can get somebody to share the workload, then that will obviously be better. Also, don’t forget to look after yourself too – it’s easy when you’re so focused on looking after your sick doggie to forget to have food and drink yourself. We appreciate that this is a very demanding treatment schedule, but it’s just the way it has to be done.

We will, of course, keep our fingers crossed for Sharmin, and please keep us up-to-date with developments.

Vaccines As Cluster Bombs

Thanks to the National Vaccine Information Center, we came across a really great article today by Rowan Contraho that very clearly exposes the myth that vaccines improve immunity to a disease and strengthen the immune system.

The article features Shiv Chopra, the renowned Canadian microbiologist, who explains in very simple, non-scientific language why he calls vaccines “cluster bombs”.

You can read this article here:

http://www.progressiveradionetwork.com/health-headlines/2011/6/29/rowan-contraho-vaccines-as-cluster-bombs.html

Although the article primarily focuses on vaccines for humans, the same principles apply to all vaccines, and it certainly helps to explain why we have seen so many dogs getting Parvo immediately after being given their shots.

In some cases, they develop symptoms within a few days, while in others, it only takes a few hours.

And for dogs that have already been exposed to the virus, Parvo shots can kill dogs – in as little as five hours, as the fiancé of one of our customers found out the hard way.

So, to anybody who was thinking of telling us how stupid we are to advise against vaccinations, please read the above article first.

Vaccines Lower Immunity

We’ve been telling people about the dangers of vaccinations for several years now, and not surprisingly, we’ve met with a fair amount of both resistance and abuse for taking this stance.

So, you can imagine how pleased we were when we recently found an article, by Paul Fassa, where a former vaccine developer, who wishes to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, has stated that “all vaccines are dangerous.

He goes on to say that, “They involve the human immune system in a process that tends to compromise immunity. They can actually cause the disease they are supposed to prevent. They can cause other diseases than the ones they are supposed to prevent.”

This is something else we’ve been telling people for ages, and we’ve talked to countless customers whose dogs have been infected with full-blown Parvo just days, or even hours, after being vaccinated.

And if you check out our Kennel Cough Treatment site, we have a very popular article there about the Bordetella vaccine, where you can read all sorts of horror stories from people whose pets reacted badly to (or even died because of) these supposedly-safe chemicals

Paul’s article also goes on to talk about why the whole premise of vaccinations is fundamentally flawed.

You owe it to yourself, your family and your pets to read the full article:

http://www.naturalnews.com/032484_vaccines_immunity.html#ixzz1NfpXPeFS

And while you’re there, check out the article sources, where you’ll find more information about the modern epidemic that is vaccination.

If your dog has been vaccinated recently, then whether he’s showing any side-effects or not, we recommend doing a full detox, using our Daily Maintenance Kit, to help flush out those toxic chemicals from his system.
