Parvovirus Can Be Avoided Through Vaccines

The Bugle Observer, from New Brunswick, Canada, reports a fairly typical story about Canine Parvovirus, with information that is mainly helpful, although it doesn’t really tell the full story, and that’s dangerous.

You can read the full story here.

According to Merck, other breeds that are more prone to Parvo than others include some of the most popular dogs in the US today, namely, Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds and Pit Bulls.

Many of our customers have these dogs, especially Pit Bulls, and we’re finding that both puppies and adults, vaccinated and unvaccinated, are being infected by Parvo and dying, if not treated.

Which brings us on to our second and most important point – vaccinations are no longer as effective as they once were, and it’s largely the emergence of the latest 2c strain that is to blame.

This strain first appeared in the US in late 2006, although it was prevalent in Europe and other parts of the world long before then, and it’s even more aggressive and fast-acting than the older 2a and 2b strains.

For example, we had one customer whose dog first showed symptoms of Parvo on a Sunday morning, and by late Sunday afternoon, it was already dead.

The problem is, most vaccines are no longer protecting dogs from the 2c strain, which is why we’re seeing more and more customers with fully vaccinated adult dogs that are getting Parvo.

In fact, it’s much worse than that, because we’re also seeing many customers whose dogs are developing full-blown Parvo within one or two days of being vaccinated. This is happening so often now that we don’t believe it to be a coincidence.

And even if the vaccine protected your dog, and didn’t give him Parvo, research is now showing that all vaccinations, not just Parvo ones, cause long-term health risks for your dog. These include a weakened immune system, which of course means he will be more likely to catch other viruses, germs and diseases too, and chronic inflammation, which will not only lead to arthritis, but also to the much more devastating cancer.

If you want to read what one leading US vet has to say about vaccinations, then please visit our Parvo Vaccines page.

We highly recommend his book, “The Nature Of Healing”, and especially Chapters 3 and 4, which are about diet and vaccinations.

The article also goes on to talk about the Parvo tests, but, once again, the 2c strain interferes with the accuracy of these tests, with false-negatives being increasingly common.

This can, of course, give people a false sense of security, as their dog could be sick after all.

So, in conclusion, vaccinations are not working against the 2c strain, they may actually give your dog Parvo, and they cause long-term health issues for your pet, including cancer.

Is there an alternative, because as the reporter states, traditional treatment only manages to save about 50% of infected dogs, and the cost is exorbitant to say the least ($10,000 per dog is what some vets are trying to charge)?

The good news is that, yes, there is!

The products in our Gold Value Pack have a 90% success rate, on average, and that’s because they do more than the drugs used by vets.

For example, the Parvaid will not only help to control vomiting and diarrhea, but also help repair the damage done to your dog’s body by the virus and help to stimulate his appetite.

The Vibactra Plus, which is an herbal antibiotic with an built-in anti-parasitic, will not only clear up any secondary infections, but according to the manufacturer, it also contains herbs that have been proven to kill viruses.

The Life Cell Immune Support will boost your dog’s immune system, which will help him fight the virus off, and it’s also a detox product, so that will help to get rid of any junk from his system.

And finally, the Doggie Pain Relief will reduce both fever, which many but not all Parvo dogs have, and pain, which all dogs suffer from when they are attacked by this virus.

So, we strongly encourage you to have a Parvo Kit on hand at all times, then if Parvo does strike, you’ll be able to begin treatment immediately. All of our products have a 4+ year shelf life, and can also be used for many other purposes other than treating Parvo.

In fact, to see how we use some of these products, and how we try to keep our own dogs’ immune systems strong, please read our Doggie Immune Builder page.
