As you may recall, owing to problems with our previous supplier, we had to take the entire ParvoBuster.com site (except for this blog) offline back in September 2010.

When we found another supplier, a Board Certified Master Herbalist who was willing to work with us and create a custom formula, we managed to get our ParvoEmergencyTreatment.com site back online in February 2011.

We also built a brand new site, ParvoTreatment.org, where we sell our newly-formulated ParvoBuster® All-In-One Parvo Formula For Dogs.

But ParvoBuster.com remained offline, because the site was huge – there were well over 100 pages of content, and we simply didn’t have the resources to re-build the entire site.

However, we are pleased to announce that we have finally started this mammoth task, and the ParvoBuster® home page is now online once more, with plenty of information about Parvo, the herbal products we now sell (and why we no longer sell Parvaid).

So, please check out the all-new ParvoBuster.com and let us know what you think.

Welcome to our latest post in our Dumb & Dumber section.

This edition’s unlucky customer first contacted us over three years ago, when his dog contracted Parvo.

The dog had already been sick for three days when he placed his order, but with our home remedies and the products we were then selling at the time, he was able to save his dog.

Fast forward to 2011, and another of his dogs contracted Parvo.

He rang us on a Monday afternoon to place his order, and it turned out that the dog had got sick the previous Friday.

Now, here’s the question, and here’s why we’re posting this in our Dumb & Dumber category: given that he’d already seen Parvo in action, why did he still wait three days before taking any action?

While it’s true that there are many causes of vomiting and diarrhea, he knows he has Parvo on his property, because he’s already had one outbreak, and this virus can survive for years.

But the strange thing was that, when we spoke to him (many times during the course of that afternoon and evening), it was as though he’d never dealt with Parvo before in his life – couldn’t identify the symptoms, didn’t think to repeat the home remedies from last time or check our site for updated versions.

We found it surprising that such a traumatic ordeal (for both dog and owner) could completely slip anybody’s mind. Yes, the human brain is good at casting aside painful memories, but in this instance, the experience this person should have gained the first time around would have been really useful when his next dog got the virus.

So, what happened?

Well, his sick dog didn’t make it through the night – because he’d left it too late. If he’d rung us on Friday, before our 2:00pm MST cut-off time, he could have been treating his dog with the home remedies that day, and his order would have been delivered on Saturday.

Even if he’d missed that deadline, he could have placed his order and been given immediate access to our comprehensive Parvo Treatment Guide, which contains all the necessary emergency measures to deal with the major risks of Parvo, i.e. dehydration and hypoglycemia). Those home remedies alone have kept dogs going for three or more days in the past, and could well have saved his dog.

But what did he do?

He fooled around, letting his dog get sicker and sicker, and did nothing at all for three days.

As we said earlier, his first dog had been sick for three days too before he placed his order, and we’ve successfully treated dogs who’ve been sick for even longer, but with a virus as aggressive as Parvo, why would anybody leave it so long without taking action? Especially when this wasn’t his first encounter with the virus.

To be honest, this sort of behaviour defies belief.

Anyway, to bring this sorry tale to a conclusion, he rang us 5 am on Tuesday morning to tell us his dog had died during the early hours and to cancel his order, in spite of the fact that he had one other dog who was still at risk (in addition to the dog we helped save three years ago, who should have natural immunity now).

Of course, we advised him not to cancel, in case his other dog got sick (remember, even fully-vaccinated dogs as old as 14 have been known to get Parvo, so no dog is safe!), but he chose to ignore this advice.

On the one hand, we obviously don’t want this other dog to get the virus, but on the other, it would (we hope) be a salutary lesson to this guy if it did.

We promptly canceled the order, issued a refund, and sent him a message stating what we did. The following day he has a bank rep call us at 7 am asking about the refund. We told him that the refund was already processed and we sent him a message which he claims he never received – how about checking your account for recent activity? Or perhaps call us at a decent hour for a change so we could reiterate what we told you previously?

This kind of incompetence and time wasting is why he doesn’t deserve to have pets.

Moral of the story this time: once you have Parvo on your property (which he did), be prepared, because any new dogs you get after that are likely to become infected too (even if, or maybe especially if, they are vaccinated).

Beth,

Thanks for your comment and questions.

Firstly, we are, of course, very sorry to hear about Sheba and Arthur. The Parvo virus is getting ever more aggressive, and it can claim a dog’s life in a matter of hours sometimes.

Secondly, we have to say that vaccinating dogs that have been exposed to the Parvo virus almost never turns out well.

Once one dog in a household gets Parvo, we always assume that the other dogs will be infected too. However, with the virus taking 3 – 15 days to incubate before symptoms appear, it’s easy to assume that they are OK, when in fact, they have the virus already.

So, injecting them with a vaccine that contains millions of viral particles, regardless of whether they’ve been “modified” or not, simply adds to the growing army of Parvo virus that is already gaining strength inside the dog.

Most vaccine manufacturers specifically state that you should not give these vaccines to dogs that are not healthy, and in our view, if a dog has been exposed to and infected by a virus as nasty as Parvo, even if there are no visible symptoms yet, then that dog is definitely not healthy.

Sadly, we have heard tales similar to yours almost every single day for the past few years, and in some cases, our customers have found that vaccinating a dog that has been exposed to the virus but which is apparently healthy can actually kill it – in as little as five hours.

This blog post, called The Worst Thing You Can Do If Your Dog Has Been Exposed To Parvo, describes just such a case, which happened to the fiancé of a customer of ours.

We come under a lot of criticism for our views on vaccinations, but a recent post we made, called Vaccines Lower Immunity, quotes somebody who used to be a vaccine developer, and he himself stated that vaccines “can actually cause the disease they are supposed to prevent”.

Exactly what we’ve been telling our customers for years!

And these problems aren’t just confined to the Parvovirus. If you read a post we made about the Bordetella vaccine on another of our sites, then you’ll also find tons of people who’ve experienced similar issues with that one too – and again, some dogs died as a result of these shots.

In spite of the recent stories in the media, you cannot ignore the sharp increase in “disorders” in today’s children, including, of course, autism, allergies and ADHD, to name but a few, and when you consider that infants receive about 33 doses of vaccines during the first 12 months of their lives, it’s not surprising, to us at least, that sticking all those toxic chemicals in such a young child is going to cause problems, both in the short-term and long-term.

Anyway, off our soap box.

It sounds as though Sharmin is doing as well as can be expected, although we would not recommend giving her any more fluids than the amounts specified in our Parvo Treatment Guide. Remember, it’s possible to overhydrate a dog just like you can underhydrate a dog, and that can also prove fatal in some cases.

The quantities specified in our document are the correct amounts for dogs of the weights listed, so dogs should not be drinking any more than that at this stage. That is why we recommend removing a dog’s water bowl, and if they do seem like they need a bit more, then small amounts of oatmeal water are best – maybe a tablespoon at a time.

If you overhydrate a dog, then it usually causes additional vomiting, which is clearly to be avoided at all costs.

Based on what you say though, it doesn’t sound like she’s dehydrated.

The same goes for food – they should not have access to their food bowl either, as it’s too early for anything other than the puppy milk and ParvoBuster Puppy Gel that are detailed in our guide.

Finally, it was unfortunate that you placed your order on Thursday after the shipping deadline, which is why you had to go with the Saturday Delivery option. According to the FedEx tracking system, your package is on schedule and due for delivery by 1:30pm today (i.e. Saturday), your time.

So, keep on with everything in our Parvo Treatment Guide, and if you can get somebody to share the workload, then that will obviously be better. Also, don’t forget to look after yourself too – it’s easy when you’re so focused on looking after your sick doggie to forget to have food and drink yourself. We appreciate that this is a very demanding treatment schedule, but it’s just the way it has to be done.

We will, of course, keep our fingers crossed for Sharmin, and please keep us up-to-date with developments.

Thanks to the National Vaccine Information Center, we came across a really great article today by Rowan Contraho that very clearly exposes the myth that vaccines improve immunity to a disease and strengthen the immune system.

The article features Shiv Chopra, the renowned Canadian microbiologist, who explains in very simple, non-scientific language why he calls vaccines “cluster bombs”.

You can read this article here:

http://www.progressiveradionetwork.com/health-headlines/2011/6/29/rowan-contraho-vaccines-as-cluster-bombs.html

Although the article primarily focuses on vaccines for humans, the same principles apply to all vaccines, and it certainly helps to explain why we have seen so many dogs getting Parvo immediately after being given their shots.

In some cases, they develop symptoms within a few days, while in others, it only takes a few hours.

And for dogs that have already been exposed to the virus, Parvo shots can kill dogs – in as little as five hours, as the fiancé of one of our customers found out the hard way.

So, to anybody who was thinking of telling us how stupid we are to advise against vaccinations, please read the above article first.

We’ve been telling people about the dangers of vaccinations for several years now, and not surprisingly, we’ve met with a fair amount of both resistance and abuse for taking this stance.

So, you can imagine how pleased we were when we recently found an article, by Paul Fassa, where a former vaccine developer, who wishes to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, has stated that “all vaccines are dangerous.“

He goes on to say that, “They involve the human immune system in a process that tends to compromise immunity. They can actually cause the disease they are supposed to prevent. They can cause other diseases than the ones they are supposed to prevent.”

This is something else we’ve been telling people for ages, and we’ve talked to countless customers whose dogs have been infected with full-blown Parvo just days, or even hours, after being vaccinated.

And if you check out our Kennel Cough Treatment site, we have a very popular article there about the Bordetella vaccine, where you can read all sorts of horror stories from people whose pets reacted badly to (or even died because of) these supposedly-safe chemicals

Paul’s article also goes on to talk about why the whole premise of vaccinations is fundamentally flawed.

You owe it to yourself, your family and your pets to read the full article:

http://www.naturalnews.com/032484_vaccines_immunity.html#ixzz1NfpXPeFS

And while you’re there, check out the article sources, where you’ll find more information about the modern epidemic that is vaccination.

If your dog has been vaccinated recently, then whether he’s showing any side-effects or not, we recommend doing a full detox, using our Daily Maintenance Kit, to help flush out those toxic chemicals from his system.

This post is a direct response to a comment we received from Carol Sciannameo.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience.

There are a number of issues here, so let’s start with chemicals.

In our experience of having helped treat over 4,000 dogs (and cats), all chemicals, and that includes, of course, vaccinations and traditional dewormers, can cause all sorts of side-effects, from the relatively mild (e.g. vomiting) to the extreme (e.g. full-blown Parvo from their shots, and even coma and death from products such as neuromuscular dewormers).

These are just some of the reasons why we urge people to keep all chemicals away from their pets, and just so that we’re clear, we not only include vaccinations and dewormers in this, but also most commercial dog food and household / garden products too.

Chemicals will also weaken the immune system, and can frequently lead to cancer. Apart from the posts on our ParvoBuster blog where we talk at length about the problems with vaccinations, we also have a post about the Bordetella Vaccine, which has similar side-effects, and where you can read some of the horror stories from other pet owners.

While we’re on the subject of dog food, the only dog food we will give our dogs is Triumph – it’s chemical-free, is not chicken-based (which is another dangerous ingredient), it’s nutritious, and it’s still made in the USA (unlike a lot of commercial dog food that comes from China).

We are also not advocates of the raw food diet, and one of the reasons is that chicken (and other poultry products) is a prime source of nasty bacteria such as Campylobacter. (Some raw food enthusiasts will tell you that dogs can’t get these infections, but we have customers who have lost dogs because of these bacteria.)

As for Parvo tests, then we have come across both false positives and false negatives, and in our experience, these results are more common with the in-clinic stool sample tests that vets do than the full blood work-ups that have to be sent off to the lab. Of course, while the latter may be more accurate, they cost more and take longer, and with time being of the essence when it comes to Parvo, it’s understandable that most people don’t want to waste any of that valuable time.

Whether your dogs have Parvo now or not is hard to say, but with some experts saying that Parvo can survive outdoors for up to 20 years, defending against this virus is almost impossible. (And in our experience too, vaccinations are not that effective – we have help treat hundreds of dogs that were vaccinated but still got Parvo, and in many cases, it appears that the vaccinations themselves are what gave the dogs the virus – although vets will deny this can happen, of course).

We have never heard of any of our customers have a post-recovery test done to see whether it really was Parvo (as there as many ailments that cause Parvo-like symptoms, including the afore-mentioned Campylobacter bacteria). A full blood work-up may reveal the presence of Parvo viral particles, and dogs will still shed the virus in their feces for six to eight weeks after they recover, but you would really need to ask your vet, or maybe a local college that specialises in animal medicine, to see if this test is possible.

So, cleaning up indoors is practical, using a 1:30 dilution of bleach and water on all the surfaces that will take bleach, but it’s important that you rinse the bleach residue off after 30 – 60 minutes to prevent your dogs ingesting this toxic chemical. A steam cleaner is best, but a mop is better than nothing.

Cleaning up outdoors, on the other hand, is next to impossible – even if you could bleach your yard every day, it only takes one bird or fly to land in infected feces (or vomit or urine) elsewhere, then land in your back yard, and you’re back to square one.

Another problem we see more and more is dogs who survive Parvo end up with some secondary infection, such as pneumonia. This is not surprising, given that their immune system is under attack from the Parvo virus (and may have already been compromised by the chemicals in vaccinations and dewormers), and even though vets will usually prescibe some form of antibiotic, they are really guessing as to what secondary infections might set in.

One other issue is the whole area of genetics and breeding.

Some breeds, as you may know, are more prone to Parvo than others, and this list includes Dobermans, German Shepherds, Labs, Pit Bulls and Rottweilers. However, breeds that are closely related to those on this list also tend to be more susceptible (e.g. Bulldogs and Pit Bulls are related, so Bulldogs seem to get it more easily too).

We can only put this down to the way that the breeds have been “engineered” over the years. For example, when German Shepherds were first created, the breeder specifically used dogs that were related to ensure that the desired traits were manifested. The problem is, of course, that in-breeding is known to cause genetic defects.

In a similar vein, almost all of the Havanese dogs in the US today stem from an original group of just 11 dogs that were imported from abroad, which means that the gene pool for this group of dogs is far too small.

In terms of keeping our own dogs healthy, then this is what we do (and recommend to other dog owners), and even though we live in Arizona, which is the worst state for Parvo, they all remain healthy at all times without ever being taken to a vet:

No chemicals of any sort (e.g. no shots, no dewormers, no crappy dog food).

High quality dog food – Triumph.

Daily Maintenance dosage – basically, this is one dose per day of the products in our Parvo Treatment Kit, which can be used both for prevention and as an ongoing tonic to keep bugs away and to keep their immune systems strong. Find out more about our Daily Maintenance Kit.

Hi!

It’s been a while since we last wrote to you, so thanks for sticking with us during these past few months.

The good news is that we have finally re-launched our Parvo Emergency Treatment site!

Before continuing any further, we recommend you read a blog post we made recently, called Parvo Emergency Treatment Site Online Again, that explains exactly why we took our sites offline, and what we’ve been doing since then to get to the point of re-launching the PET site:

Note that the above link will open in a new window, so once you’ve read that post, you can simply close the window and you’ll be right back here.

OK, read it?

So, now that you understand the background to this, let’s get on to the important matters – our affiliate program.

Well, the good news is that, even though we’ve changed suppliers, we are still continuing to run our affiliate program.

However, there are a few things you need to know, so let’s get started.

Affiliate Links

As we said the post we referred you to above, we have only re-launched the PET site so far; the ParvoBuster site will re-direct visitors to this site, instead of to Amazon, as we have been doing during the past few months. (We’ll talk more about Amazon in a moment.)

However, with a couple of exceptions that we’ll come to shortly, all of the existing affiliate links will continue to work, and you will still get credited with any sales generated from your referrals.

We have tested this out, and are confident that you will not need to make any changes to your links.

Banners

When it comes to banners, on the other hand, then you may need to make a few changes.

Firstly, because we are now using different products, we have had to update 18 of our 41 banners.

Whether you need to change your websites, etc. will depend on how you are using these banners.

If you are using the affiliate links that you got from our website, without changing them, then you will not need to make any changes at all, as the new banners will automatically be displayed.

As an example, if the code you are using looks like the following, then you are using the banners that we host, and you will not need to make any changes:

<a href=”http://www.ParvoBusterAffiliates.com/100-2-1-28.html” target=”_blank”><img border=”0″ src=”http://www.ParvoBusterAffiliates.com/idevaffiliate/banners/PET250x250-01.jpg” width=”250″ height=”250″></a>

If, on the other hand, you have saved copies of our banners and are hosting them yourselves, then you will either need to download the latest versions of the banners and re-upload them to your website, or you will need to change your code to make use of the banners we host.

As an example, again, if the code you are using looks something like the following, then you are hosting our banners yourself, and you will need to make changes:

<a href=”http://www.ParvoBusterAffiliates.com/100-2-1-28.html” target=”_blank”><img border=”0″ src=”http://www.YourDomain.com/ banners/PET250x250-01.jpg” width=”250″ height=”250″></a>

Finally, there are two banners that we had to delete, which are as follows:

If you are using either of these two banners, then we’re sorry, but you will need to choose different ones – there are 39 others available.

Amazon.com

Many of you noticed that, during the past few months, both of our websites (i.e. ParvoBuster.com and the ParvoEmergencyTreatment.com) were redirecting to Amazon, and some of you were concerned that you were losing commissions on the traffic that you sent to us.

So, here are the facts.

Firstly, you need to understand the type of people who visit our sites.

Many of them are looking for something for nothing, the proverbial free lunch that doesn’t actually exist. They simply don’t seem willing (or able) to afford the products we sell, even though they are, in the vast majority of cases, substantially cheaper than taking their sick dog to the vet’s – and more effective too. (Typically, it costs $200 USD, including shipping, to buy the natural products we sell, compared to $500 USD – $12,000 USD, per dog, at the vet’s!)

During the past few months, we’ve sent nearly 19,000 people to Amazon, offering them a chance to buy Parvaid (which in our experience has not been strong enough to cope with Parvo since some time in 2007) as we had no viable alternative at the time.

The cost of a single bottle of Parvaid on Amazon is somewhere around $40, and yet only a tiny handful of people (less than 107, in fact) actually ended up buying this product (and some even returned them for a refund).

On top of that, Amazon commissions are notoriously low, which is a by-product of them being one of the cheapest sites on the Internet and therefore working at relatively low margins – they rely on selling in volume, and they do this very well indeed.

As an example of this, your commission rate starts at just 4% each month with the Amazon Associates Program, and to reach 6%, you have to sell at least seven items during the month. To increase your commission rate by another half percent, you need to sell a total of 31 items or more during the month, and if you wanted to reach 8%, which is the starting commission rate that we offer to our own affiliates, then you’d have to sell a whopping 631 items – per month (as it doesn’t roll over from one month to the next).

So, what this means in practice is that you really haven’t lost very much in commissions at all – we’re talking about a tiny number of people, relative to the total number of visitors who’ve been to the site, who have bought something from Amazon (even less if you take out the returns), and a small commission rate on those few who did buy something.

To put some numbers behind this, during the period when our sites were offline, which was 134 days, 107 bottles of Amber Technology products (i.e. mainly Parvaid, but some Vibactra Plus and Life Cell Support) were bought from Amazon, after we redirected people there.

Referring back to sales we made on our original sites, then just over 6% of all orders placed came from affiliate referrals.

That means that of those 107 bottles sold on Amazon, about 6% of them, or about seven bottles, probably came from affiliate referrals.

Commission on one bottle of Parvaid works out to be around $1.60, so the total commission on those seven bottles equates to $11.20 (which is approximately the same amount of commission that used to be earned on a single Gold Value Pack).

And during this period, we had 63 of our 290 affiliates sending us visitors, so if you divide that $11.20 by all of those active affiliates, we’re really talking about a minute amount of commission.

If we could have found a way to ensure you got commissions on the few Amazon sales that were made, we would have done so, but there was no way of achieving this, technically.

As a further example of the sort of visitors we get, one of our other pet health sites offers a natural, chemical-free product for kennel cough treatment.

This site gets up to 10,000 targeted visitors (i.e. they’re specifically searching for kennel cough treatments and remedies) per month, and yet we make very few sales from that site at all – less than two a week, on average.

If you visit this site, you’ll notice that we do promote a few pet-related books as well, and these, too, are Amazon affiliate links.

Now, some people do click through to Amazon and buy these books, maybe in the hope that they can spend as little as possible (not that $50 to treat kennel cough is expensive in the first place), but they are, at least, buying something to try to help their pets.

But we also know, from our tracking systems, that, even though the vast majority of people who visit our kennel cough site clearly have sick animals, some of them click through to Amazon and end up buying not a herbal product or a (cheap) book about pet health, but something completely unrelated, like a $250 iPod.

In other words, their own personal gratification has a higher priority than getting their sick pets better.

And lastly, we frequently get emails from people who’ve found our free Parvo Emergency Tea recipe, and then complain that they still have to go and buy a few ingredients.

You really can’t figure out what’s going through these people’s minds! We know the economy is far from being in good shape these days, but if you have a pet, then you have a responsibility to look after and care for it too.

The last figure we came across for the cost of owning a dog, over its entire life, was around $13,000 USD (and that figure is probably a few years old by now), so $50 to treat kennel cough, or even $200 to save his life if he gets Parvo, is a drop in the ocean, but for many, it’s too much.

We know this may be hard for you to understand – after all, most of our affiliates are either people who saved their pets’ lives using the herbal product we sell, or people who are interesting in promoting a natural, chemical-free way to look after our pets.

It’s certainly all very sad, but changing these peoples’ mindsets is a monumental task, unfortunately.

Exit Page

Further to all this Amazon stuff, people who visit our current Parvo Emergency Treatment site and still decide not to buy will still be offered the chance to either change their mind and buy a Parvo Treatment Kit after all, or buy Parvaid from Amazon, when they leave the site.

We really don’t expect a lot of people to take us up on this offer, based on what we’ve experienced these past few months, but if there’s a chance that a bottle of Parvaid will help their sick dog, then even though we don’t believe that’s powerful enough these days, we’ll give them that opportunity because our ultimate goal is to help save animals.

Other Pet Health Products

If you would like to promote some other natural, pet health products, then we highly recommend signing up for the Natural Wonder Pets affiliate program.

It pays 15% commission, and they have a wide range of products for all sorts of ailments, including, for example, the kennel cough product, Primalix KC, that we feature on our Kennel Cough Treatment site mentioned above.

Note that this is not our affiliate program – it is run by a third party company called ShareASale, who are one of the largest affiliate network management businesses out there.

Marketing Tips

They say that people love their pets, but in our experience, there are a lot of pet owners who appear not to want to spend any money on their pets at all, even when their lives are at risk (e.g. of Parvo).

That means you really have to put sites such as ParvoEmergencyTreatment.com (and the kennel cough treatment site) in front of as many people as possible.

It’s truly a numbers game (especially with Amazon, where the commission rates are lower), so the more targeted traffic you can get to your sites, and then, of course, to ours, the better.

Summary

So, will more people buy our new range of products or not?

To be honest, it’s hard to say.

The good news is that they’re a bit cheaper than the Gold Value Pack we used to sell – by about $10 USD.

But to us, the biggest selling point is the fact that there is a lot more treatment power (just over five times more, in fact), and this is especially relevant to those people who work with a lot of dogs on a regular basis, such as breeders and rescues/shelters, as it makes the cost per dog much, much lower.

Once again, we would like to thank you for being part of our ParvoBuster family, and hope that, together, we can save even more sick dogs (and cats).

We are pleased to announce that our Parvo Emergency Treatment site is back online.

For a while now, both our ParvoBuster and ParvoEmergencyTreatment sites were redirecting visitors to Amazon, while we worked on major changes, but those redirects have now been removed.

For now, the ParvoBuster site will still redirect you to the Parvo Emergency Treatment site – that’s because that site is massive, and it will take many more months to fully update it.

So, why did we have to take these sites offline in the first place?

Well, our previous supplier, Amber Technology, had been engaging in unethical business practices for the best part of a year – they had intentionally been ripping us off, by overcharging us, and they would not rectify the situation. In fact, they have still not returned the money they owe us to this day.

We are a small Non-Profit Organisation, and we spend a lot of time and energy on both these two sites, as well as about a dozen other pet health sites, and we work with relatively small margins, so we really cannot afford to lose money this way.

On top of that, for a company that has been selling products for over ten years, their error rate was completely unacceptable – over 4% of orders shipped had errors, and, sadly, these errors did cost some animals their lives. (If you compare this to the industry standard error rate of less then 2%, then you can see why we found this unacceptable.)

The good news is that we have found a new supplier, a master herbalist with many years of experience who is willing to work with us on custom formulations amongst other things.

He also has a very nice line of existing pet health care products, all of which are 100% natural, 100% herbal, and none of which contain alcohol (unlike the Amber Technology products).

Now, switching over to this new supplier was not as easy as you might think, and we encountered several technical obstacles along the way.

For example, we had to remove some things, add a few new things, install new scripts, and sort out a major issue with PayPal who seemed to have updated their payment gateway, which caused a number of problems in the process (because we want to offer multiple payment options to give our customers more choice.)

Then, we had to fix a load of links, rework our Product Selector tool, which is a very complex piece of code that calculates exactly which products you will need based on the number of dogs you have (by their weight).

Next, our new supplier had to integrate FedEx to his own systems, as he’d previously only used the US Postal Service. This took longer than we’d hoped but, as you may know, we only offer overnight shipping for domestic and international orders on our Parvo Emergency Treatment site – anything else is too slow and costs dogs their lives.

Adding the full list of foreign countries took a while longer too, but all that’s sorted now as well.

Then, because we’re working with new products, we had to retool our treatment protocols, which are a bit different to our previous ones.

Next, we changed the way we deliver these protocols to our customers. In the past, we sent all the information via email, but too many customers were having problems, such as no email access, and inability to open the documents we attached to those emails.

So, now everything is done via download – as soon as you’ve paid for your order, you will be taken to a page where you can download all the information you need, directly to your computer.

Everything we used to send by email is now included in our brand new, comprehensive Parvo Treatment Guide.

And finally, we had a lot of testing to do, to make sure that all of these different changes worked separately and together.

In summary, although the overall look and feel of the Parvo Emergency Treatment site may not have changed much, there have been a ton of behind-the-scenes technical issues that had to be resolved.

But now, at last, we’re there!

However, the PET site (as we call it), still only deals with the Canine Parvovirus.

Although the products in our home treatment kit will work for cats too, we still haven’t had time to update our documentation, as the protocols are slightly different.

So, if you have cats suffering from Feline Parvovirus (aka Feline Panleukopenia or Feline Distemper), then please use our Contact Us form to get in touch with us, and we’ll get you sorted.

In spite of being offline for months, and all the hard work we’ve had to put in to get the site back online again, there is some really great news!

And that is, the treatment power of our new ParvoBuster Viral Smack-Down Kit is far superior to the Gold Value Pack we used to sell. In fact, it’s five times greater, as you can see from the following table:

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top">Weight Of Dog

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top">Dogs Treated Using
Amber Tech Products

<td style="padding:10px;"class="bg-green" align="center" valign="top">Dogs Treated Using
ParvoBuster Products

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top"><span class="looklikebluelink" onMouseover="ddrivetip('Under 1.36 kg.',150)"; onMouseout="hideddrivetip()">Under 3 lbs.

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top">9

<td style="padding:10px;"class="bg-green" align="center" valign="top">50

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top"><span class="looklikebluelink" onMouseover="ddrivetip('1.36 - 4.54 kg.',150)"; onMouseout="hideddrivetip()">3 – 10 lbs.

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top">3.6

<td style="padding:10px;"class="bg-green" align="center" valign="top">20

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top"><span class="looklikebluelink" onMouseover="ddrivetip('4.55 - 9.07 kg.',150)"; onMouseout="hideddrivetip()">11 – 20 lbs.

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top">1.8

<td style="padding:10px;"class="bg-green" align="center" valign="top">10

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top"><span class="looklikebluelink" onMouseover="ddrivetip('9.08 - 45.36 kg.',150)"; onMouseout="hideddrivetip()">21 – 100 lbs.

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top">1.2

<td style="padding:10px;"class="bg-green" align="center" valign="top">6

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top"><span class="looklikebluelink" onMouseover="ddrivetip('45.37 - 90.72 kg.',150)"; onMouseout="hideddrivetip()">101 – 200 lbs.

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top">0.9

<td style="padding:10px;"class="bg-green" align="center" valign="top">4

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top"><span class="looklikebluelink" onMouseover="ddrivetip('Over 90.72 kg.',150)"; onMouseout="hideddrivetip()">Over 200 lbs.

<td style="padding:10px;"align="center" valign="top">0.7

<td style="padding:10px;"class="bg-green" align="center" valign="top">3

But not only that, it’s actually about $10 cheaper too, so for those with multiple dogs (which is the majority of our customers, historically), the average cost for treating a sick dog has come way down.

Also like the products we formerly sold, these new ones are also supplied as liquids and are administered in drop form, with our unique Parvo Emergency Tea.

Again, there is good news here too.

Instead of having to administer five different products using at least two different dosage schedules, as was the case with our Gold Value Packs, you now only have to administer two different products, which both use the same dosage schedule, which is just four times a day. (Note, though, that you do still need to give the emergency measures that are detailed in our proprietary Parvo Treatment Guide every 30 minutes.

But at least with the new products, there is less room for confusion and, therefore, less scope for making mistakes. (We had customers in the past who gave products way too often, which is dangerous, or not enough, which is ineffective, because they found it hard to keep track of what needed to be administered and when.)

We have taken this major change as an opportunity to simplify everything, from the way we send you information to the detailed instructions themselves. The net effect of this is that, if you are able to place the order online, then you will be able to download our Parvo Treatment Guide too, and you will then be good to go in a matter of moments of placing your order.

It also translates into lower prices too. However, it is no longer feasible for us to offer round-the-clock, 24 x 7 support. With more than four or five cases, we simply don’t have the resources to provide that level of support. But that is why we have greatly expanded our Parvo Treatment Guide, which contains all the information you need.

In conclusion, we believe our new ParvoBuster Viral Smack-Down Kit offers even better value than what we used to sell, enabling you to treat more animals, for less money, and with simpler protocols too.

The bad news is that we’ve still not heard from our main supplier, so our existing problems with Amber Technology products are still without a solution.

However, we do have some great news for you!

We’re working closely with another company, Natural Wonder Pets, who also make a fantastic range of 100% natural products for pets.

We have negotiated with Gary Le Mon, who owns this company, to give all affiliates that we refer to his program instant approval (provided you live in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand).

His current product range includes the following, and we’ve also shown the basic retail price of each item, as well as the commission you would earn, based on the standard 15% commission rate:

Product

Retail Price

Commission

TripleSure (flea & tick)

$39.95

$5.99

DentaSure (dental health)

$29.95

$4.49

FourGard (anti-parasitic, including heartworms)

$29.95

$4.49

SoothAway & FlexaSure (arthritis)

$59.95

$9.00

PrimaLix Cancer Care

$39.95

$5.99

PrimaLix Immune

$39.95

$5.99

DailySure Multi-Vitamin / Mineral Supplements (for dogs and cats)

$39.95

$5.99

K9Calm (for nervous dogs)

$39.95

$5.99

PrimaLix Diabetes Defense

$39.95

$5.99

PrimaLix KC (for kennel cough)

$39.95

$5.99

PrimaLix KC Cat Cough

$39.95

$5.99

It’s worth noting, however, that Gary has special offers and combo packs available most of the time. This means that with the larger bottles (most of his are 4oz, compared to the standard 1oz from Amber Technology), the lower prices and the great deals, it’s a lot easier to get sales from these products than it is for the Parvo Gold Value Packs, for example, and the higher commission rate obviously makes it easier to earn more money too.

To put this in perspective for you, the commission you would earn from selling a Parvo Gold Value Pack via our own affiliate program would be 8% of $139.95, which works out to be $11.20.

To earn $11.20 from Gary’s affiliate program, you would only need to sell two of the 4oz. bottles (of most products), which is relatively easy.

So, to summarise, here are the main benefits of signing up for Gary’s affiliate program:

it’s free to join

your commission rate starts at 15% (compared to the 8% we can offer you)

the products are all chemical-free and 100% natural – you know we wouldn’t recommend anything chemical-based

the products are cheaper, with some great combo-pack savings which makes them much easier to sell

We highly recommend signing up today – the sooner you join, the sooner you can start earning additional commissions!
