Dosage Schedules For Parvaid
Parvaid can be used for:
- The treatment of Parvo (i.e. when it has already been confirmed that your dog has Parvo, or when he is showing the classic symptoms of Parvo, such as yellow, frothy vomit, bloody diarrhea, lethargy and dehydration).
In this situation, Parvaid will repair the damage caused by the Parvo, as well as helping to control the vomiting and diarrhea, and stimulating the appetite.
- The prevention of Parvo (i.e. when you believe your dog has been exposed to Parvo, but is not yet showing any of the symptoms).
When used in this manner, the Parvaid will, in most cases, prevent your dog from ever showing any Parvo symptoms (i.e. it's like he was never infected), and in the cases of the stronger, newer strains such as 2c (aka F-Strain), the effects of the Parvo will not be as severe as would be the case if you didn't administer preventative doses of this product.

Parvaid Parvo Treatment Dosage Schedules
If you know that your dog does have Parvo, or he is exhibiting any of the symptoms, then here is the dosage schedule that you need to follow.
You should not give this product to a puppy that is still nursing. You should give it to the mother instead. |
Parvaid Parvo Treatment Dosage Instructions
- For the first dose, select the correct dosage for your dog from the chart below, and put only the Parvaid directly into the animal's mouth, then wait for 15 minutes.
- For the second dose, mix the same amount of Parvaid with the corresponding amount of Oatmeal Water (the recipe for which you can find in the Emergency Action Plan that you should already have received, but which you can also find in our FREE book, Parvo Treatment 101), as per the chart below, and place the Parvaid / Oatmeal Water mix directly into the dog's mouth.
- For the remaining doses, repeat the second dose every hour until your dog eaten on own (and held down food for six hours). Note that this will require a total of 46 further hourly doses.
- Once your dog is eating, give four times a day for two days to prevent a relapse. If your dog is not drinking, then you should still mix the Parvaid with the Oatmeal Water; otherwise, you can omit the Oatmeal Water at this stage.

Caution
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not give Parvaid to pregnant dogs as this could cause a miscarriage.
- Do not give to animals with an existing pancreas or liver disease.
- If your dog is on an IV drip or Sub Q fluids, you should reduce the IV drip or Sub Q fluids by half and give half the amount of Pedialyte (or Oat Water) orally with the single dose of Parvaid.
- It is very important not to over-hydrate your puppy if they have Parvo, as this can put a strain on the heart, causing a heart attack.

Action Plan
- Completely fill out the Product Selector with the details for ALL dogs on your property. This is crucial.
- Order your products using FedEx Overnight, as Parvo will not wait for USPS Priority Mail packages (2 - 6 days). If you place your order after 3:00pm MST (GMT - 7) on Thursday and before 3:00pm MST (GMT - 7) on Fridays, then select FedEx Overnight with Saturday Delivery. This is only $12.50 extra (i.e. in addition to their normal FedEx Priority Overnight service) and even a single day could make the difference between life and death for your dog.
- Start your dog on the Parvo Emergency Tea straight away. This is an excellent stopgap measure until your package arrives. Your dog will be hydrated, receive some nutrients, and this tea will help to settle your dog’s stomach. The ingredients are readily available at your local supermarket or Wal-Mart.
