A Natural Herbal Aid To Treat Your Kitten For Feline Distemper!

Kitty Distempaid for the treatment and prevention of Feline Distemper

Kitty Distempaid is a natural, herbal remedy that can help your kitten or cat to overcome feline distemper, which is also known as feline panleukopenia, cat typhoid, feline infectious enteritis, and cat fever.

This safe, natural remedy relieves vomiting, gastrointestinal distress, cramping, gas and bloody diarrhea. Kitty Distempaid contains herbs that calm and soothe the digestive tract, as well as boost the immune system and help fight the feline panleukopenia virus.

Kitty Distempaid can also be used for vomiting, diarrhea and bloody diarrhea, e-coli, corona, and giardia. The product helps to build up the immune system, and is particularly good for kittens who are weaning from their mother.

It can help stop the vomiting and diarrhea caused by changes to the cat's environment or diet, stress, and ease travel discomfort, bloat, gas, and in some instances it even helps to alleviate bad breath.

Mark and Rae,

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for having these products online. While my kitten, Foxy Lady, was not so lucky and died at just 5 months old, my other two cats, Cleo and Wilson, were saved by your products. The unuseful vet told me my two other cats were going to die since the virus is contagious, but after giving them Kitty Distempaid, Vibactra Plus, and Life Cell Support, my cats started eating, drinking, and going in the litter box within 5 hours!!

I am devastated about losing my kitten, but it is your products that saved my other two cats' lives. I don't know what I would have done if I had to deal with all three passing away, so I cannot tell you how eternally grateful I am to you and your company. Thank you for giving Cleo and Wilson a second chance. If it weren't for your products, they never would have had it.

I have started to spread the word about Parvo and your incredible products to everyone I know.

My husband and I will always be eternally grateful to you. Our heartful thanks,

Mindy and Steven Anderson

What Is Feline Distemper?

Feline Distemper, or Feline Panleukopenia, is a viral disease that affects domestic cats and all other felids (e.g. lions, tigers and other wild cats), as well as raccoons and mink.

Feline Distemper usually affects kittens that are less than one year old. However, kittens that are born to infected queens (infected in utero) or infected very shortly after birth may display tremors, have a very high stepping gait, stand with their feet very far apart, or even fall down while standing or walking.

What Are the Symptoms?

Signs of Feline Panleukopenia can vary in severity from the very mild to the severe. The many symptoms are not always typical and many people may even think that their cat has swallowed a foreign object or been poisoned. The result of this is that treatment may be therefore delayed or neglected.

The first signs you might notice are generalized depression, lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, high fever, dehydration, and hanging over the water dish.

The course of the disease may be short and explosive, with advanced cases, when discovered, causing death within hours.

Normally though, the sickness may last for three or four days after the first elevation of body temperature. Fever will fluctuate during the illness and abruptly fall to subnormal levels shortly before death. Other signs during the later stages may be diarrhea, anemia, dehydration, and persistent vomiting.

Panleukopenia also destroys tissues in the body including white blood cells, which leaves the kitten open for the growth of bacteria or viruses.

Feline Distemper is so prevalent and the signs so varied that any sick cat should be taken to a veterinarian for a definite diagnosis.

How Is Feline Distemper Transmitted?

The Feline Distemper virus is shed in all body secretions and excretions of affected animals. Recovered animals may shed the virus for months. Fleas and other insects, especially flies, may play a role in transmission of the disease. The route of infection is either inhalation or ingestion of infective material by a susceptible host.

Feline Distemper virus affects all rapidly dividing cells including cells of the intestinal mucosa, bone marrow, and reticuloendothelial system.

How Is Feline Distemper Diagnosed?

Diagnosis of Feline Distemper is made from clinical signs and demonstration of an extremely low white blood cell count. Confirmation of the diagnosis can be made by detection of virus particles in the feces.

Treating Feline Distemper

The standard treatment for Feline Distemper that you would get at the vet's consists of IV fluids or plasma, and transfusions may also be given. Because of the low white blood cell counts, animals are particularly susceptible to secondary infections, so antibiotics may be given as well to treat, or attempt to prevent, secondary infections. Younger kittens and animals with very low white blood cell counts have a much lower chance of surviving this disease.

Depending on how long your cat has been sick, and what the symptoms are, we recommend giving Vibactra Plus, which will work on the viral and bacterial infections as well as preventing secondary infections, and Life Cell Immune Support, which will give your cat's immune system a boost as well as stimulating cell regeneration, in conjunction with Feline Distempaid to give your kitten the maximum chance of survival.

Cats that are treated early at the onset of the disease have a better chance of recovery than those who aren't.

If any of your cats are already sick with Feline Distemper, or are showing any of the typical symptoms (e.g. yellow vomit, foul-smelling diarrhea), then you need to use a FedEx Overnight service to guarantee your kitty the best possible chance of surviving this dreadful virus. Please do not select USPS Express Mail expecting it to be an overnight service, because in our experience, it rarely has been.

We really do not want to see any more of our customers' pets dying because they tried to save money by selecting a slower shipping service!
